Spiral Staircases
Lichtgitter has developed three systems for spiral staircases; "LG Special" "LG Standard" and "LG Express". These stairs are functionally safe, reliable and suitable for many purposes.
"LG Special"
The stair type LG special is made up to a diameter of 3000mm. The footplate can be designed either with different gratings, perforated metal planks or chequer plates.
In this design stairtreads and landings are pushed over a stand pipe with pipe sleeves and then fastened via the railing. The railing can be produced in different versions. The railing height is 1100mm from a fall height of 12 metres according DIN 18065.
"LG Standard"
The stair type LG standard is manufactured in 1600, 1800, and 2000mm diameters (intermediate sizes are available on request). The treads and landing are screwed onto the stand pipe. In this design the stand pipe can be connected securely with the foundation and the building structure during the assembly starting with the landing. Only then are the treads able to be mounted to the railing elements and handrail.
"LG Express"
The stair type LG Express are manufactured in 1600, 1800 and 2000mm diameter. the stand piep is divided into lengths of up to 2000mm and is assembled during installation. The treads and landings are screwed onto the stand pipe and in this design the stand pipe can be connected securely to the foundation and the building structure during assembly, starting with the landing. Only hen are the treads able to be mounted to the railing elements and handrail.
