BN-GA is a mix of closed punched holes facing upwards and conical drain holes facing downwards. This means that the grating does not have any sharp edges on the top surface and can be walked on easily, even without footwear, however, any liquids can be quickly drained through the conical drain holes so that no hydroplaning can occur.
